ABOUT THE FILM

Rambuai: That single word captures the drama and trauma that swept the lives of over a quarter million people is what is the present state of Mizoram. Rambuai means the trouble years and the Mizos do talk about it, which they are doing increasingly now after decades of silence. What was the nature of this trouble, this rambuai, this silence?

The purpose of the screening of this short documentary is to unravel the political history of the Mizos through this medium and an outreach to the audience along with interaction with the public.
