Food cultures in the Northeast
Marking its 10th anniversary this year, the Cultures of Peace festival, a collaborative project between Zubaan and the Heinrich Böll Foundation / Stiftung, focuses on the theme of 'food' for its first quarter in 2020.

Speaker profiles
Amba Jamir has worked as a policy analyst, grassroots convenor, and focuses on community based resource management, conservation and practices in Nagaland.
Dolly Kikon is a senior lecturer at the Anthropology and Development Studies program at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her work focuses on the political economy of extractive resources, militarization, migration, development initiatives, gender relations, food cultures, and human rights in India.
Puspadhar Das is a farmer based in Baksa, Assam. His practices include mechanisation, multi-cropping, dairy-farming, SRI, among others.
Kunti Bora is an entrepreneur and a trainer to self-help groups under the Social Welfare Department.
Seno Tushah is a community development leader, a primary school teacher, and a member of the North East Network from Nagaland.
Shubhra Devi Hanjabam is an entrepreneur based out of Manipur and heads Meira Foods.
