Current Populism in Europe and Climate Change

7th Prague Populism Conference

We are happy to invite you to 7th Prague Populism Conference.

This year’s Prague Populism Conference will analyze European populist parties and movements and their approach towards climate change from different angles: How have the parties adapted their narratives? Is there a new focus of their political programs regarding environment? Where do populists stand now in relation to mainstream parties and the media in this issue? Is climate change going to substitute migration and gender as the main topic in „cultural wars“? Moreover, the conference will address the current issues of European populists in a broader perspective. Case studies from various European countries will provide a basis for the discussion.
