Europe, Let’s Speak Out for LGBTI Rights in South Caucasus!
This conference aims to provide a public space for LGBTI activists from South Caucasus to share their concerns on the state of respect and protection of LGBTI rights in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan and how this affects the daily realities of LGBTI people.
The encounter with representatives from EU institutions will enable the LGBTI activists to raise the EU representatives’ awareness on the living conditions of LGBTI people in South Caucasus, to explore the most effective forms of support that EU policymakers can contribute to their actions on the ground, and to formulate recommendations on how the EU could better contribute to securing and promoting LGBTI people’s human rights in the respective countries.
