Feminist Foreign Policy: Rights, Representation, Resources, and Reality in Turkey
Whose security does foreign and security policy serve? Who gets a say in decision-making? How are resources distributed?
We invite you to the launch of Feminist Foreign Policy: Rights, Representation, Resources, and Reality in Turkey, a publication prepared as part of the sustainability efforts of the Digital Feminist Foreign Policy School project, jointly implemented by TED University’s Gender Studies Center and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Istanbul Office.
Contributions by Prof. Dr. Zuhal Yeşilyurt Gündüz, Prof. Dr. Birgül Demirtaş, Assist. Prof. Burcu Sarı Karademir, Assoc. Prof. Pelin Sönmez and Assoc. Prof. Zehra Yılmaz, the publication explores the core principles of feminist foreign policy in the context of Turkey.
Bringing together international law, relations with the European Union, sustainable development, and the Women, Peace and Security agenda, the publication offers a more just, inclusive and peace-oriented perspective on foreign policy.
We warmly invite you to join us for the launch and reflect together on the possibilities for feminist foreign policy in Turkey.
