The conference aims to highlight the great importance of adopting and moving towards gender-sensitive justice systems and the urgency of removing the existing barriers and structural inequalities that remain in many judicial systems. We will also try to identify and support the best practices in courts that specifically handle gender violence and the promotion of common resources and training materials on gender violence for judges, prosecutors, lawyers, police and other professionals who deal with victims of gender violence.
