German Premiere: “The Future Is Peace”

What happens when two people who have have lost close family members in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict choose to reject revenge and instead embrace dialogue and human connection? Aziz Abu Sarah, Palestinian, and Maoz Inon, Israeli, tell their story in their joint book "The Future Is Peace" – and are now coming to Berlin with their bestseller.

Internationally, Maoz Inon and Aziz Abu Sarah have already made big waves: In 2025, they met Pope Leo XIV, following an earlier meeting with Pope Francis in 2024. Their joint appearance on The Daily Show reached an audience of millions, and their book became a New York Times bestseller. They also spoke with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani about their story and their vision for peace. On October 20, the two will make their first appearence in the German-speaking world – taking place at the ATZE Musiktheater in Berlin.

Maoz Inon and Aziz Abu Sarah share a similar fate: Aziz Abu Sarah lost his brother at First Intifada. Maoz Inon lost his parents on October 7. Despite this – or perhaps precisely because of it – they became peace activists. In "The Future Is Peace", they take us on their shared journey through Israel and Palestine, sharing their vision of peace and mutual recognition along the way.
