Green Economy - Can it work?
Two book presentations
The overstepping of a number of planetary boundaries and the tremendous challenges resulting from climate change appear to require rapid far-going changes in our socio-economic system and development model. They call into question the global equality of opportunity for prosperity. They are also a huge developmental challenge for all countries, but particularly for the global South and a question of life and death for some developing countries. Against this background, the question arises whether the “green economy” and its DNA “green growth” is indeed a feasible concept and approach for the future.
