Kinan Azmeh & The Syrian Expat Philharmonic Orchestra
Special and free-entry concert exclusively for citizens from Syria
Our home is where our music is
Kinan Azmeh & The Syrian Expat Philharmonic Orchestra SEPO under the artistic direction of SEPO-founder Raed Jazbeh
Special and free-entry concert exclusively for citizens from Syria / Syrian refugees in Berlin
(Admission details below)
Foreign country, intimate sounds: The renowned clarinetist Kinan Azneh and the first Syrian Expat Philharmonic Orchestra SEPO with its artistic director and founder Raed Jazbeh will be performing originals composed by Kinan Azmeh and other musical works.
In cooperation with the “friends and supporters” of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Berlin they explicitly invite citizens from Syria/Syrian refugees in Berlin to this exclusive concert, offering a piece of home to those who had to leave all behind. Because our home is where our music is.
PLEASE NOTE: As this free-entry concert on wednesday, 09th is explicitly for syrian refugees having in mind their difficult economic and otherwise situation we would very kindly ask berlin-resident volunteers and refugee supporters to attend the charity concert the day before, Tuesday, 08th of march, 07.00 pm, same location (entry fee 20,- Euro as a donation for a Child-care-project in a refugee camp in Lebanon), as to guarantee access for refugees. We would however accept volunteers/supporters accompanying refugee groups in a reasonable relation up to one per group of ten. We very much appreciate your kind understanding.
