The Lions of Science Women’s Workshop

Role of women in science, technology & innovation towards achieving vision 2030

Date:  20th February 2015.

Venue: Heinrich Boell Stiftung Office, Forest Road, Parklands

Time: 8.00 a.m.  - 16.00 p.m.

Topic:  The role of women in science, technology and innovation; Goals, challenges and the way forward towards achieving vision 2030"

The Lions of Science Women’s Workshop is being held on a backdrop of the affirmative action in the Science, Technology & Innovation in Kenya, to allow more female participation in the above fields.

In spite of the affirmative action, there has been little, if any, translation into action hence the workshop seeks to evaluate the goals and challenges to inform the way forward, thus encouraging female students to be at the forefront in championing for  the Social, Economic and Political pillars of Vision 2030.

Female students are invited to this free forum, which has been organised by the Lions of Science in coorperation with the Heinrich Boell Stiftung, Nairobi Office.

Kindly send your confirmation of attendance to the programme coordinator by latest 5th February 2015 via the email below
