Loss and damage – who should pay?

This official joint side event by the Climate Justice Program (ACJP) and the Heinrich Böll Stiftung will explore a concrete financing proposal to address the injustice that at the moment the poor and vulnerable are paying for climate change related loss and damage with their homes, their land and their lives, while meanwhile the fossil fuel industry makes trillions in profit. Official COP 21 accreditation is required to attend this event.
