  • Which patterns and criteria have led to the valorization of women as heroines of World War II?

  • Which role models were and are represented through them?

  • How did the public remembrance of heroines change after the break-up of the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia? Which heroines were “nationalized”, which ones were forgotten?

WS 4: Women in the Red Army: What remembrance and assesments are dominating? (With simultaneous translation Russian-English)
