Plastic – Global Problems Local Solutions panel discussion

Plastic is ubiquitous and has been part of everyone's daily life. It is causing enormous waste and pollution problems, thus calling for real solutions globally and locally. In this panel discussion, we will look into the impacts of plastic waste on our environment and community, encourage the practice of plastic reduction, and introduce alternatives such as reuse and recycling. Heinrich Böll Foundation will take you through the story of plastic by presenting two insightful and attractive publications. Greeners Actions and Plastic Free Seas will respectively introduce plastic pollution in Hong Kong and share their advocacy and education efforts on plastic reduction. These presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
