Al-Haq’s legal researcher, Anan AbuShanab, will present her research on the legal protection of natural resources within the OPT under an environmental justice framework, which has been shaped as a mechanism for struggling communities to mobilize and demand justice for the inequitable access to the use of natural assets and for the disproportionate impact of environmental harm on such groups.
