Profits at the expense of people and planet?

Large corporations often emphasize their efforts for sustainability and the climate. But what are they really doing with their profits? A recently published study by OXFAM Germany and Finanzwende shows that large companies are distributing more of their profits to shareholders instead of reducing their emissions. They are favoring shareholders over their own employees. How did we come this far? And what can we do to change this?
