Rethinking Care in the Age of Going It Alone

A conversation with the author of <Alte Eltern: I Decided to Be Kind to You Until the End>

Can care become a shared social responsibility rather than an individual burden?
Volker Kitz, author of <I Decided to Stay Kind to You Until the End>, which quietly reflects on the experience of aging parents and loss, joins writer Ki-hyeon Cho, who has long advocated for the social recognition of young carer, to rethink the meaning of care together. Through this conversation, they explore how we might take responsibility for one another across family, state, and community, and imagine the possibility of a more caring society.
