Shaping the Future of Indo-German Cooperation

Meet German and Indian Decision-Makers and Professionals across Policy, Civil Society, Academia and Business in Climate, Energy & Development Cooperation

Heinrich Böll Stiftung and Germanwatch warmly invite you to our one-day conference that brings together Indian and German voices to rethink and deepen Indo-German cooperation in the areas of climate, energy, and development.

Although India is a rising global partner in the green transition, sustainable development and global governance, its complexity often remains underexplored in German discourse. At the same time, Germany is seeking partnerships that are more diverse and less confined to traditional frameworks. The time is right to develop the capacity for informed, respectful and future-oriented cooperation beyond our own silos.

Through dialogue, joint reflection and personal exchange, we aim to foster a more nuanced and collaborative approach to engagement between Germany and India. Participants from politics, civil society, academia and business will explore ways of cooperating that are grounded in mutual understanding, strategic relevance and shared responsibility.
Please see the agenda for details.

Our goal is to create a more connected and competent community to face the challenges ahead in Indo-German climate, energy and development cooperation.

Please register here.

We look forward to welcoming you.
