როგორ შეიძლება განვითარდეს სოხუმი? რა შესაძლებლობები და რესურსები აქვს ქალაქს და სად არის მოქმედების თავისუფლება? ეს საკითხები სხვაგვარად გამოიყურება გარე პოზიციიდან. რა მიაჩნიათ საინტერესოდ და აუცილებლად ადგილობრივ და უცხოელ ურბანულ აქტივისტებს? როგორ მოქმედებენ ისინი, როდესაც საჯარო სივრცეში თამნამშრომლობენ? როგორი ურთიერთობა აქვთ მათ ქალაქთან და ქალაქის მაცხოვრებლებთან?

raumlabor ბერლინში არსებული არქიტექტორთა კოლექტივია, რომელსაც მსოფლიოს მრავალი ქვეყნის საჯარო სივრცეში უმუშავია. raumlabor მჭიდროდ მუშაობს ადგილობრივ მოსახლეობებთან და ადგილობრივი მასალით ქმნის ინსტალაციებს და კონსტრუქციებს, რომლებიც ხელოვნებას და არქიტექტურას აერთიანებენ.

კოლექტივი ახლახანს დაბრუნდა აფხაზეთიდან, სადაც მათ განახორციელეს ერთობლივი პროექტი კულტურულ ცენტრ Sklad-თან და artasfoundation-თან ერთად. კოლექტივის წევრები თბილისში წარადგენენ თავიანთ ნაშრომებს და გაგვიზიარებენ გამოცდილებებს დისკუსიაში artasfoundation-ის დამაარსებლის დაგმარ რაიჰერტისა და თბილისში მოღვაწე რეჟისორის და პროდიუსერის ანა ძიაპშიპას მონაწილეობით.

პროექტი წამოწყებულია კულტურული ცენტრი Sklad-ის და artasfoundation-ის ერთობლივი ინიციატივით, და განხორციელებულია შვეიცარიის ფედერალური საერთაშორისო ურთიერთობის ოფისის ადამიანთა უსაფრთხოების განყოფილების და ჰაინრიჰ ბიოლის ფონდის სამხრეთ კავკასიის რეგიონული ოფისის ფინანსური მხარდაჭერით.

Sukhum/i today: Acting in public space

How can the city of Sukhum/i develop? What are the options, the resources and where is the freedom to act? All these questions look different from an outside position. What do local and foreign architects and urban activists find interesting and necessary? How do they act in public space when they collaborate? How do they interact with the city and its inhabitants?

Speakers:

Marius Busch, architect, permanent freelancer at raumlabor since 2009;
Anna Dziapshipa, art manager, producer at SakDoc Film;
Benjamin Foerster-Baldenius, cofounder of raumlabor, performing architect, urban researcher;
Claire Mothais, artist, architect, member of raumlabor since 2012;
Dagmar Reichert, founder and director of artasfoundation.

raumlabor is a collective of architects from Berlin, which has worked in public space in many countries all over the world. raumlabor exchanges with local communities and works with local materials and develops installations and constructions combining art and architecture (www.raumlabor.net).

Now they come back from Abkhazia, where they made their most recent project "Sukhum/i today: Acting in public space" in collaboration with the cultural centre Sklad and artasfoundation (www.artasfoundation.ch). In Tbilisi, they present their work and discuss their experiences with Dagmar Reichert, founder and director of artasfoundation, and Anna Dziapshipa, a Tbilisi based film director and producer/SakDoc.

The project was jointly initiated by the cultural centre Sklad and artasfoundation and conducted with financial contributions from the Human Security Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and the South Caucasus Regional Office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
