Space & Tech: Who on Earth is focused on the Stars?
Women Take on the Digital Divide - Part 5
Space technology is more than just physics and trajectories to and from planets: increasingly, it's about how human life adapts and is affected by space travel and life in space. It turns out that the science of survival in space holds many parallels to survival in especially arid, harsh and inhospitable climates such as can be found in Africa and Asia. Why is space tech so important to countries in the global south and what should we know about the race to make space more livable?
In this talk, Yvette Gonzalez will highlight some of the issues and give us a glimpse of a possible future.
