Spark Sessions

An Alternative Networking Event

Asia Centre will be launching a brand new event series called - Spark Sessions - designed to provide a platform for students to connect, inspire and build community.

Spark Sessions go beyond your average networking sessions, because at Asia Centre we believe in doing things differently. Forget the fussy ties, rehearsed pitches and name card collecting. We’re opting for connection, conversation and genuine engagement.

The inaugural edition of the Spark Sessions will focus on Engaging Youth. Asia Centre invites university students from all disciplines to an informal and free get together to interact with representatives from international organizations, NGOs, social enterprises and civil society. In this way, young people can

- Better understand some of the critical issues tackled by international organizations, NGOs, social enterprises and civil society
- Browse through the “community centre” where attending organisations will set up stands
- Ask questions and explore internship opportunities
- Be a part of a socially engaged community and discover how you can contribute.

Attendance is free, light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
