Premiere: The Empty Grave
Kick-off event for the dialogue forum "Dino in the room"
In their documentary, the Tanzanian-German directing duo tells of the traces and trauma that the former German colonial rule has left behind in Tanzanian families and communities to this day - and about the strength of the bereaved, who are persistently struggeling to come to terms with the past. "The Empty Grave" looks at the global debate on the return of "ancestral remains" from a personal perspective.
