Towards a Feminist Future

A Cultural Approach

Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan is honored to celebrate our milestone development of a feminist foreign cultural policy. In the last months, we have adapetd an interdisciplinary process ranging with inputs from the fields of climate activism, post-coloniality, intersectionality, and more. We have discussed with you what a Feminist Foreign Policy could mean for our work in the cultural domain and we have met new allies in this field.

On 30.11. we invite you to join us in concluding the conversation on Feminist Foreign Cultural diplomacy in an Indo-German context, together with:

  • Dr. Ines Kappert, Gunda Werner Institute Berlin, Executive director, Feminist Foreign Policy / Intersectionality.
  • Aditi Mukund, Program Associate at Kubernein Initiative, leading their work on gender and feminist foreign policy.
  • Moderated by Urvashi Buthalia, Director, Founder and CEO, Zubaan. Publisher, teacher and activist, involved in women’s publishing and research and activism on gender issues.

Towards Feminist Future: A Cultural Approach is a collaborative networking series, where we work together towards understanding foreign diplomacy, outside the mainstream discourse, by putting culture at the forefront towards a reimagined feminist future.
