The Voice of Hind Rajab

“The Voice of Hind Rajab” documents an emergency call received by the Red Crescent during the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip. Six-year-old Hind Rajab is trapped in a car under fire, pleading for rescue. As the call unfolds, Red Crescent volunteers make every possible effort to secure safe passage for an ambulance to reach her.
The feature film is based on real phone records from an actual emergency case. It received a record-breaking 23 minute standing ovations at its premiere in Venice, awarded the Grand Jury Prize, nominated for the 2026 Golden Globe, and is widely considered a major Oscar contender.
Facilitated by the Heinrich Böll Foundation - Global Unit for Human Security with short welcome remarks by representatives of Amnesty International Austria and the Bruno Kreisky Forum.
After the screening discussion on the humanitarian situation in Gaza with:
