World in Focus. Warsaw International Gathering
Do you want to understand how the modern world works and what mechanisms rule it? Who deals the cards, who sets the directions? How do events from the other corners of the world affect on what is happening next door?
We will try to answer these and many other questions during this year's edition of the World in Focus. Warsaw International Gathering - we warmly invite everyone who is willing to reflect and discuss current events and scenarios of the future of international relations. For the fourth time, we invite you to take part in a series of meetings and debates - always relating to the question about Poland's participation in global processes and challenges.
This year, we'll take a look at alliances in an era of change and instability. Within Europe and on the global stage there are reshuffles: long-standing players lose their dominant position, new actors grow into significant competitors. It forces to look for new allies by both, those who want to defend the existing international order and those who want to turn the table. Therefore, we will ask: Do international organizations like the UN still fulfill their role? What will the new deal look like in the EU? What alliances do we need to maintain international order and work together to save our planet?
World in Focus. Warsaw International Gathering will be held on November 29-30 at the Collegium Politicum of the University of Warsaw, Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28.
