Magali Lafourcade

Magali Lafourcade, a magistrate, is Secretary-General of the National Consultative Commission on Human Rights. She teaches at Sciences Po and is the author of Human Rights (PUF, 2018, 2nd ed., 2025), Demasculinising Justice (Les petits matins, 2025) and Justice on Trial. Populists Under Siege: The Rule of Law (Les petits matins, 2026).

She chairs the Ethics and Professional Conduct Committee of the Le Monde Group.
