Marc Berthold

Marc Berthold has been director of the Paris office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation since July 2022.

Among the positions he has held at the Heinrich Böll Foundation, he headed the Europe/North America department from 2019 to 2022 and the Israel office in Tel Aviv from 2011 to the end of 2013, having previously worked as head of foreign and security policy. Between 2001 and 2007, he coordinated the Transatlantic Climate Dialogue programme at the Washington office. 

A graduate in political science, Marc Berthold headed from 2014 to the end of 2017 the office of Cem Özdemir, then federal co-chair of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen.
