Welcome and Moderation by Dr. Bettina Marx (hbs)

Dr. Yara Hawari, historian, expert on the Middle East and Palestine Policy Fellow at Al-Shabaka, Dr. Munir Nusseibeh, human rights lawyer, Director and Co-founder of Al-Quds Human Rights Clinic, and Director of the Community Work Center, will reflect on the EU’s policy towards Jerusalem, why the EU should take action against the Israeli annexation of East Jerusalem and what immediate steps it can take to safeguard Palestinian rights in and to the city.

The event will be conducted in English and a light lunch will be served.
