Feminist Imaginaries Festival
Imagine a Feminist Future
The Feminist Imaginaries Festival will bring together feminist and LGBTIQ+ activists, artists, filmmakers, researchers, and policymakers from across the globe to exchange ideas, strengthen solidarities, and collectively imagine feminist futures. Through film, dialogue, and creative workshops, the festival invites you to take a collective break from the hot mess that is our world and think beyond the next crisis. It offers space to recharge our feminist batteries and build transnational visions of justice, care, and liberation for all.
Whether you want to learn how trans* activists in Latin America playfully make feminism more inclusive, how feminists in South Africa use community kitchens to tackle polycrises, or how masculinities are re-imagined in South East Asia, the festival offers diverse formats and experiences to choose from. Next to a film screening, several interactive workshops, an exhibition, a hot takes booth, and a panel discussion, there will be opportunities to connect with feminists from around the globe to foster new alliances and get inspired.
