The Future of Bioeconomy
Visions of Bioeconomy - international literature festival berlin
At the end of the series, the panelists Homero Aridjis [Dichter und Gewinner des Green Cross Millenium International Environmental Leadership Award, verliehen von Michael Gorbachow, Mexico], Timothy Morton [Philosopher, USA], Barbara Unmüßig [Politologist, D], and Linus Steinmetz [Fridays for Future, D] discuss the theoretical future of bio-economy: Can the variety of ecosystems, species, and genetic diversity be preserved if fossil fuels are replaced by bio-based raw materials? Which visions of the future – utopias and dystopias – can we expect from the diverse strategies of a bioeconomy? Homero Aridjis and Timothy Morton participate remotely.
