CANCELLED - Opening Brussels Jewish International Film Festival (BJIFF)
Film Screening
The Institute of Audiovisual Jewish Memory (IMAJ) and the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung European Union cordially invite you to the opening of the Brussels Jewish International Film Festival (BJIFF).
The BJIFF 2020 will be opened by the film “The End of Love” (2019) by Keren Ben Rafael.
The film tells the story of Julie and Yuval. They live in Paris, are in love and have just had a baby. When Yuval needs to return to Israel to renew his visa, they start sharing their family routine via video call. Watching each other through a screen, however, begins to take its toll on their relationship.
"The End of Love" won the Grand Jury Prize at the 19th Mediterranean Cinema Festival in Brussels in December 2019.
Film language: French with English subtitles
Running time: 90 minutes
