Storymoja Hay Festival 2014

The Heinrich Boell Stiftung, Regional Office for Africa (Kenya), proudly announces this year's Storymoja Hay Festival, which provides a platform for the flowering of the human spirit through the beauty of literature and art. It provides a platform to celebrate the best of African literature by showcasing unparalleled performances and the finest artists and talent in Africa and beyond. Presenting a festival of this scale and quality requires concerted effort and support for its continued success, that is why we are proud to be sponsors of such a success story.

We highly recommend this event, especially on Sunday 21st [Session 143] Careerpedia tent on Art and Democracy, to meet writers Teju Cole (Nigeria), Michela Wrong (UK), and Nancy Della (Germany); and the British High Commissioner to Kenya and discuss how art promotes democratic ideals.
