This conference will feature the outstanding keynote speaker Rita Segato, one of Latin America's most celebrated feminist anthropologists. Moreover, specialist and activist Mariana López Zaldívar of Colectivo Equis (Mexico) and Anna Pramstrahler of Wave Network will also participate in the first panel of the conference “Persistence of discriminatory systems when denouncing and reporting gender based violence”.
In the second panel “Good practices and proposals to advance towards gender just judicial systems”, feminicides are going to be analysed from a legal perspective with the collaboration of Carla Vall, lawyer specialised in criminal law and advisor on public policy, Linda Cabrera of Sisma Mujer and Leila Lahssaini of Progress Lawyers Network.
