Conference: Agrofuels - Opportunity or Danger?

The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy and Germanwatch, in cooperation with FERN, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Agrobusiness Accountability Initiative, ActionAid International, GRET and Coordination Sud have the pleasure to invite to the second transatlantic dialogue on agricultural policies. As you will recall at our first meeting in May in Washington, we had identified the emergence of the agrofuels sector as one of the key issues we wanted to focus on.

Our second conference will therefore have the topic of agrofuels production and policies and their impacts on farmers and rural development in the US and the EU as well as in developing countries.

We hope for you participation in this second workshop and look forward to continuing our discussions.
