Conference `Greening the European Neighbourhood Policy`

The Conference is organised by the Heinrich Böll Foundation and WWF, in cooperation with Mr. David Hammerstein, MEP. This event is the launching of the Project « Greening the European Neighbourhood Policy ». The main objective of the Conference is to incorporate sustainable development, environmental protection and strong governance in the development and implementation of the ENP policy. This will be achieved by increasing public awareness, civil society participation, dialogue and co-operation between all stakeholders based in the Neighbouring countries and the Member States and the EU Institutions. The Conference forms one part of a policy seminar organised over a whole week where Heinrich Böll Foundation, WWF and NGO Partners from 10 Neighbouring countries will discuss policy and capacity building activities related to the ENP.
