A feminist exploration: Covid-19
Join us for this interactive kick-off event of a brand new monthly series of feminist online discussions.
In this first edition of ”A feminist exploration“, we are going to look at the pandemic that shook up our lives in an unprecedented way. Together with international feminist scholars and activists, we are going to discuss the magnifying glass that the crisis places on social inequalities, the distribution of labour and wealth and who is most affected by the current health crisis. How does the pandemic affect authoritarian sentiment and current social movements? What challenges - old and new - do feminists have to face against this backdrop? The pandemic lays bare what is truly important in our societies and what has been broken for a long time. Together, we will approach the question of what kind of world is possible after this global crisis and what needs to be changed in order to get there.
The monthly discussion series ”A feminist exploration“ is powered by and created for feminist scholars, activists and policy makers - in Europe and beyond. We are looking forward to your participation!
