From June 26 until June 30, 2011, the Climate Action Network Canada, Pembina Institute, the Heinrich Böll Foundation and The United Church of Canada will feature its newest report, “Harvesting Clean Energy on Ontario Farms”, on a Southern Ontario speaking tour.
Highlighting untapped business opportunities for Ontario’s farmers in the field of renewable energy, the tour will focus on numerous benefits of renewable energy, such as rural economic development and improved environmental conditions. It will also describe the government policies needed to allow farmers to embrace these benefits.

The tour will begin in Ottawa on June 26 and will travel through Kingston, Toronto, Cambridge and surrounding areas and will end in Guelph on June 30.
