International Final Conference of IGIV

“Implementation Guidelines for an Intersectional Peer Violence Preventive Work” (short: IGIV) is a project for developing an intersectional educational, social and violence preventive work. Five partner organisations from five countries (Peace Institute, Ljubl- jana/Slovenia; Men’s Counselling Centre Graz/Austria; share-it, Spoleto/Italy; Eurocircle, Marseille/France and Dissens e.V. from Berlin/Germany) have been working intensively for two years on a common approach to intersectional violence prevention. First focussing on analyses of the current state and needs in regard to an intersectional educational and social work, we then proceeded to the development of guidelines for intersectional pedagogical work, tools and methods as well as a European training course on that basis. The results of the project are presented and discussed at the final conference. Pedagogues, experts from the fields of politics, administration and science and anyone who is interested are hereby kindly invited to attend. The conference will be held in English.
