Nordic Conference on Men and Masculinities: Experiences of Men - Masculinities and Bodies

The conference theme Experiences of Men refers both to men's experiences in different fields of life and experiences of men and women, including researchers, in their encounters with men and the norms of masculinities. How do men and women as active agents interpret and respond to the norms of masculinity that surround them? A variety from extreme to everyday experiences will be discussed in the lectures, panels and workshops, including themes such as men’s health, men of different ages, power and emotion in organisations, men's experiences of love, friendship and intimacy and cultural representations of male embodiment.<br> <br>
