Salon Rio

Im „Salon Rio“ wollen wir das alte Rio-Motto „Global denken, lokal handeln“ aufleben lassen. Internationale Studierende der Erfurter Willy Brandt School of Public Policy und weitere Gäste werden anhand einzelner Beispiele davon berichten, wie es um die nachhaltige Entwicklung in verschiedenen Ländern bestellt ist.

Die Veranstaltungsreihe „Salon Rio“ findet in Kooperation mit der Willy Brandt School of Public Policy an der Universität Erfurt statt, ist zweisprachig (deutsch/englisch) angelegt und wird von Jennifer Schubert (MdL, BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN) moderiert.

The event “Salon Rio” offers the opportunity to deal with recent developments of sustainability in other countries, to critically take stock and to emerge new perspectives for action – according to the Rio motto `think globally, act locally`. Some international students from the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt shall illustrate how sustainable development and environmental protection works in their country.

The series of events “Salon Rio” is organized in co-operation with the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy at the University of Erfurt and is thus bilingual and will be moderated by Jennifer Schubert (MdL, BÜNDNIS 90/ DIE GRÜNEN).
