Negotiations with the EU from the perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The negotiations for the conclusion of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and European Communities and its Member States were officially opened on 25 November 2005 in Sarajevo. It is foreseen to have three official and five technical rounds of negotiations during 2006. The European Commission is always participating in negotiations as authorised interlocutor and negotiator on behalf of the EU, and when issues of “mixed competencies” are discussed, representatives of the Members States are also present.
