WTO Mini-Ministerial: What is left of the Doha development promises?
Böll Press Breakfast
On Wednesday 28 June, the Heinrich Böll
Foundation will host a press breakfast, to
discuss the WTO Mini-Ministerial meeting
scheduled to start in Geneva the following
day.

The upcoming Mini-Ministerial meeting is
widely regarded an eleventh hour attempt
to rescue the "Doha Development Round"
from impending failure. It will focus on the
question of how much agricultural market
access the EU and other industrialised
countries will offer in exchange for better
access of their industrial goods to
developing markets.

Our guests at the breakfast represent
leading policy experts, NGO
representatives and European opinion-
makers. They will address the questions:
What is at stake at the Mini-Ministerial and
what is left of the promises of the
development agenda in the WTO?
