WTO Mini-Ministerial: What is left of the Doha development promises?

On Wednesday 28 June, the Heinrich Böll Foundation will host a press breakfast, to discuss the WTO Mini-Ministerial meeting scheduled to start in Geneva the following day.<br><br> The upcoming Mini-Ministerial meeting is widely regarded an eleventh hour attempt to rescue the "Doha Development Round" from impending failure. It will focus on the question of how much agricultural market access the EU and other industrialised countries will offer in exchange for better access of their industrial goods to developing markets.<br><br> Our guests at the breakfast represent leading policy experts, NGO representatives and European opinion- makers.
