23rd Foreign Policy Conference (Day 1)
Security in the Twilight Zone - Regional Perspectives on the War in Eastern Europe
Since Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the security of Central, Northern and Eastern European States is becoming the focus of attention. While Moscow is increasingly threatening the territorial integrity of its neighbouring countries, their self-confidence is growing that they no longer wish to be treated as "Russia's backyard". This is especially true for the post-Soviet states between the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea, which are outside the EU and NATO.
In addition to this regional focus, the conference will also take a look at the global impact of the Russian war of aggression.
Day 1 - Voices from the Ground. Where do we stand on Eastern European Security?
- Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, Head of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus
- Tigran Grigoryan, Political Analyst, Yerevan
- Viola von Cramon, MEP, Green Party, Brussels
Conference Languages are German and English.
Simultaneous translation of all conference modules will be provided.
