23rd Foreign Policy Conference (Day 3)

Security in the Twilight Zone - Global Perspectives on the War in Eastern Europe

Since Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the security of Central, Northern and Eastern European States is becoming the focus of attention. While Moscow is increasingly threatening the territorial integrity of its neighbouring countries, their self-confidence is growing that they no longer wish to be treated as "Russia's backyard". This is especially true for the post-Soviet states between the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea, which are outside the EU and NATO.

In addition to this regional focus, the conference will also take a look at the global impact of the Russian war of aggression.

Day 3 - The Global Impact of the War in Eastern Europe

Invited Speakers:

  • Martin Kimani, Permanent Representative of Kenya to the UN
  • Elizabeth Sidiropoulos, South African Institute of International Affairs, Johannesburg
  • Katja Keul, MP, Green Party, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin

Conference Languages are German and English.
Simultaneous translation of all conference modules will be provided.
